Everyday, millions of Indians choose their favourite brands. Some brands succeed, some brands fail, some linger in our collective memories long after the brand has ceased to exist. The CNBC AWAAZ Consumer Awards is our way of saluting those brands that millions of Indians have chosen to buy, to try, to experience and to own.
The CNBC AWAAZ Consumer Awards 2009 are based on an exhaustive consumer survey done by The Nielsen Company across 19 cities spanning 16 states in India. This year, we will be rewarding brands across 21 product and service categories.
